Gondola Romantica operates by appointment in the evenings 7 days a week, May through October, weather permitting.
To assure availability for your special occasion, we recommend that you reserve your ride at least 2 weeks in advance. Walk-up rides are available as our schedule allows. See cruise packages below >
Types of Cruises
Cruises range from the 20 minute "A Touch of Venice" to "Gondola Elegante," which includes a 5-course meal and a one-hour cruise down the St. Croix - as well as a red carpet, roses and a gondolier in traditional 16th century dress. Special cruises can also be arranged that meet your individual needs - let us know how many hours and what other arrangements you want for your special occasion.
Booking Your Cruise

Gift Certficates
You can now buy gift certicates online - give someone a gift they'll truly remember. You can now also use your gift certicate online - follow the regular booking process and enter your gift certicate number.
Late Night Rides: We now will book rides from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. - call us directly if you are unable to book these times online.
Rides start again in May.

Centennial Lakes
Closed for Fall/Winter
We're closing for Fall/Winter at Centennial Lakes.
You are invited to bring food and beverages to enjoy on your ride. Alcohol and tobacco use is prohibited at Centennial Lakes (park board regulations).
Walk-up rides are open to the public; booked rides are private rides.
**Cruises with Meals: Details
For the Fall Colors Lunch Special and the Mid-week Venetian Getaway, your meal will be scheduled at the Dock Cafe 1 1/2 hours before your cruise begins. If you would prefer to have your meal after your cruise, please call us at 651-439-1783. Vegetarian options available.
Gondola Elegante
This very special cruise includes a 5 course meal, 1 hour cruise, red carpet, roses, and a gondolier in traditional 16th century dress. Meal options are the same as for the Mid-week Venetian Getaway (see paragraph above)..
Policies
Gratuities
Gratuities for the gondolier are customary. Though not required, most people like to tip the gondolier 15% - 20%.
Cancellation Policy:
Once booked all tickets are non-refundable. You can change the time and day of your scheduled ride up to 72 hours before the booked ride. No changes 72 hours before the booked ride. (Because your space is being guaranteed at the event.)The Gondolier will decide if rain or unsafe weather should be a factor in canceling a ride. If a ride is cancelled by GR/GSC, GR/GSC will re-book your ride at the earliest possible opportunity or issue a Gift Certificate good for one year.
Conditions and Limitations:
Gondola Romantica ("GR"), at its sole discretion, reserves
the right to refuse anyone a ride.
GR retains the right to, at the sole discretion of the Gondolier,
cancel or terminate a ride due to inclement weather or other safety
concerns.
Passenger agrees to conduct himself/herself in a courteous and safe manner while boarding, riding in, and exiting from the gondola watercraft, that he/she will act responsibly commensurate with the nature of the activity, and that he/she assumes all risk of accident or injury.
Passenger agrees to promptly follow and comply with all instructions and directions from the Gondolier; failure to do so will result in cancellation or termination of the ride.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior, as determined by the Gondolier, will
result in early termination of the ride without refund.
Intoxicated persons will not be permitted to board the gondola.
Minors (or, persons under the age of 17) must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
